Dear Parents and Students,

As temperatures continue to rise, we want to ensure the health and well-being of our students. Wearing sweaters and hoodies throughout the day can pose several health risks, including:

• Overheating – Prolonged wear of warm clothing in hot weather can cause the body to retain excess heat, leading to discomfort and fatigue.

• Dehydration – Sweating more due to excessive warmth increases the risk of dehydration, which can result in headaches, dizziness, and difficulty concentrating.

• Heat Exhaustion – Continuous exposure to high temperatures while wearing warm clothing can cause nausea, muscle weakness, and overall physical distress.

We understand that some students may feel cool inside classrooms due to air conditioning. However, wearing warm clothing all day is neither necessary nor advisable. Students are encouraged to dress in light, breathable fabrics and bring a sweater or hoodie to wear only when needed indoors.
